Pee Wees edge Ithaca II

The Heritage Realty Pee Wee Snowbelt youth hockey team was a 3-2 winner over visiting Ithaca II Saturday afternoon.
Elisa Evans, Caleb Erno and Liam Chase each scored a goal for the winners, and goalie Brandon Ludwig made 19 saves.
The Groton City animal Hospital squad lost a pair of weekend games, 6-4 to host Elmira on Saturday and 5-1 to visiting Clinton on Sunday. Nick Johnson had two goals and an assist and Chris Baxendell two goals against Elmira, while goalie P.J. Shager made 37 saves as his team was outshot 43-7.
Josh Button scored the lone goal against Clinton, Shager stopping 21 shots.
The Brainfreeze Madness/Izzy Custom Cuts Red squad opened a 1-2-1 weekend with a 13-10 loss to visiting Ithaca on Saturday as Andrew Partigianoni, Mitch Riter, Braden Marsh and Tucker Gabriel were the goal-scorers and goalie Garret Clark made 15 saves.
In three games at Valley on Sunday, the Red squad played to a 5-5 tie with Camillus I, lost to Camillus II by 5-1 and was a 5-0 winner over Valley. Riter, Gabriel, Marsh and Reid Villnave scored goals and Clark totaled 22 saves in the two games against the Camillus squads. Clark stopped seven shots for the shutout against Valley, with Riter, Villnave and Logan Swartz scoring goals.
The Traver Millwork White team hosted Ithaca Saturday and got goals from Aidan Farron, Hunter Everle, Lucas Farris, Rachelle Cain, Jacob Couture, Padraic Andrews and Benjamin McGrath while goalie Andrew Kristof made 13 saves.
The Kruman and O’Connor Blue team played three games with Lysander over the weekend. Delaney Ayer, Gabby Cranfield and Liam O’Connor scored goals in the first game, while Cranfield scored in the second and Cranfield and O’Connor were the third-game scorers.
