DeRuyter 3, Cincinnatus 0: “We played on our heels for much of the game,” Cincinnatus coach Mallory Cobb said. “Although we were able to show some moments of brilliance, it was not enough. We tried to adjust to fill holes in our defense, but DeRuyter always found the new holes that we left open. DeRuyter played well and was able to pick apart our serve receive. We seem to be stuck in the mud with our feet, which does not help our passing and getting the ball where it needs to be.”
