A man was stabbed around 1:40 p.m. Wednesday in McGraw, Cortland County dispatchers reported.
The victim was found at 20 W. Academy St., but the assailant was not on the scene. Medics from McGraw Fire and Rescue, TLC Emergency Medical Services and officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Department responded. The victim was treated on the scene and loaded into an ambulance for further treatment about 2 p.m.
The house is several doors away from McGraw High School, but both that and the nearby McGraw Elementary School are on winter break this week.
Sheriff’s officers had no details Wednesday afternoon. The investigation continues.
