Cortland County virus cases: 44

Cortland County reported no new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, the number remaining at 44.

In total, 310 cases have been confirmed and three people have died in Cayuga, Tompkins and Cortland counties.

The Cortland County Health Department was monitoring 25 patients; none is hospitalized, although six have been. The Cortland County Health Department has received 4,402 negative test results. Forty-three people have recovered.

Tompkins County reported no new cases Wednesday, the number remaining at 165 cases among 11,123 tested people, the state Department of Health reported. The Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center also reported 165 cases. Two people have died.

The Cayuga County Health Department reported no new cases Thursday, the number remaining at 101. One person has died; four are hospitalized. Another 47 are quarantined and 12 are in isolation.
