Cortland County virus cases still 45
Cortland County reported no new COVID-19 cases Friday, the number remaining at 45.
In all, 323 cases have been confirmed and three people have died in Cayuga, Tompkins and Cortland counties.
The Cortland County Health Department was monitoring 14 patients; none are hospitalized, although six have been. The Cortland County Health Department has received 5,869 negative test results.
Forty-four people have recovered. The county has reported no deaths. Tompkins County reported one new case Thursday, raising the number to 172 cases among 14,238 tested people, the state Department of Health reported.
The Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center reported 171 cases. Two people have died.
The Cayuga County Health Department reported two new cases Friday, raising the number of confirmed cases to 106. One person has died; three are hospitalized. Another 45 are quarantined and eight are in isolation.
