Cortland County’s number of virus cases remain at 49
Cortland County reported no new COVID-19 cases over the weekend, the number of confirmed cases remaining at 49.
In all, 336 cases have been confirmed and four people have died in Cayuga, Tompkins and Cortland counties.
The Cortland County Health Department was monitoring nine patients; none is hospitalized, although six have been. The Cortland County Health Department has received 7,275 negative test results. Forty-seven people have recovered. The county has reported no deaths.
Tompkins County reported two new cases Friday and Saturday, raising the number to 175 cases among 17,134 tested people, the state Department of Health reported. The Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center reported 174 cases. Two people have died.
The Cayuga County Health Department reported one new case Monday, raising the number of confirmed cases to 112. Two people have died; one is hospitalized. Another 32 are quarantined and six are in isolation.
