4 new coronavirus cases reported in Cortland County
Cortland County reported four new confirmed COVID19 cases over the weekend, increasing the number of confirmed cases to 85 — 35 new cases since July 3.
In all, 448 cases have been confirmed in Cayuga, Tompkins and Cortland counties and five people have died.
The Cortland County Health Department was monitoring 163 patients, 11 of them confirmed positive. None is hospitalized, although six have been. The Cortland County Health Department has received 12,331 negative test results. Seventy-four people have recovered. The county has reported no deaths.
Tompkins County reported three new cases Friday and Saturday, the number rising to 224, according to the state Health Department. A total of 28,720 people were tested. Two people have died.
The state Department of Health reported two new cases in Cayuga County on Friday and Saturday, raising the number of confirmed cases to 139. The state reports 18,788 people have been tested. Three people have died.
