Cortland County reported no new confirmed COVID-19 cases Friday, the number of confirmed cases remaining at 91.

In all, 475 cases have been confirmed in Cayuga, Tompkins and Cortland counties and five people have died.

• The Cortland County Health Department was monitoring 143 patients, three of them confirmed positive. None is hospitalized, although six have been. The Cortland County Health Department has received 15,138 negative test results. Ninety-one people have recovered. The county has reported no deaths.

• Tompkins County reported one new case Thursday, the number rising to 233, according to the state Health Department. A total of 34,145 people were tested. Two people have died.

• The state Department of Health reported no new cases Thursday in Cayuga County, the number of confirmed cases remaining at 151. The state reports 21,516 people have been tested. Three people have died.

Ridge Runner canceled

The Ridge Runner party traditionally planned for the third Sunday in August in Freetown has been canceled this year because of the coronavirus pandemic, said organizer Aimee Peppin. The event, a dish-to-pass picnic, would have been Aug. 16. Now it will be in 2021.
