Cortland County virus cases still at 91
Cortland County reported no new confirmed COVID-19 cases Friday, the number of confirmed cases remaining at 91.
In all, 490 cases have been confirmed in Cayuga, Tompkins and Cortland counties and five people have died.
The Cortland County Health Department was monitoring 145 patients, none of them confirmed positive. None were hospitalized, although six have been. The Cortland County Health Department has received 16,497 negative test results. Ninety-one people have recovered. The county has reported no deaths.
Tompkins County reported two new cases Thursday, the number rising to 236, according to the state Health Department. A total of 37,992 people were tested. Two people have died.
In Cayuga County, the state Department of Health reported one new case Thursday, raising the number of confirmed cases to state Department of Health to 163. The state reports 23,140 people have been tested. Three people have died.
