Cortland County reported one new confirmed COVID-19 case Friday, the number of confirmed rising to 98.

In all, 587 cases have been confirmed in Cayuga, Tompkins and Cortland counties and five people have died.

• The Cortland County Health Department was monitoring 112 patients, six of them confirmed positive. None were hospitalized, although six have been. The Cortland County Health Department has received 19,879 negative test results.

Ninety-two people have recovered. The county has reported no deaths.

• Tompkins County reported five new cases Thursday, the number of confirmed cases rising to 308, according to the state Health Department.

A total of 60,844 people were tested. Two people have died. It has seen 60 new cases of coronavirus since Aug. 27.

• In Cayuga County, the state Department of Health reported no new cases Thursday, the number of confirmed cases remaining at 181. The state reports 28,929 people have been tested. Three people have died.

1st National Bank of Dryden opens lobbies

DRYDEN — Lobbies will open Tuesday at the First National Bank of Dryden, the bank announced Friday. Customers are welcome to bank during regular business hours at all four locations in Dryden, Cortland and Homer.

2nd potential public exposure at restaurant

ITHACA — A second employee at The Boatyard Grill in Ithaca has tested positive for COVID-19, and the Tompkins County Health Department suggests people who may have been exposed get tested for coronavirus.

The Health Department’s contact investigation showed the individual is connected to a previous case reported Wednesday.

Potential public exposures may have occurred at The Boatyard Grill at these times:

• Aug. 28: 4 to 11 p.m.
• Aug. 29: 4 to 11 p.m.
• Sunday: 4 to 11 p.m.
• Monday: 4 to 11 p.m.
• Tuesday: 4 to 11 p.m.
• Wednesday: 4 to 11 p.m.
