Cortland County reports 18 new coronavirus cases
Cortland County reported 18 new confirmed COVID-19 cases Sunday, raising the number of confirmed cases to 147.
In all, 718 cases have been confirmed in Cayuga, Tompkins and Cortland counties and five people have died.
The Cortland County Health Department was monitoring 301 patients, 48 of them confirmed positive. None were hospitalized, although six have been. The Cortland County Health Department has received 21,544 negative test results. Ninety-nine people have recovered. The county has reported no deaths.
Tompkins County reported 12 new cases Sunday, the number of confirmed cases rising to 381, according to the state Health Department. A total of 98,333 people were tested. Two people have died.
In Cayuga County, the state Health Department reported five new cases Sunday, the number of confirmed cases increased by five to 190 total. The state reports 31,594 people have been tested. Three people have died.
