Cortland County offers two vaccination clinics

Following the announcement Monday that New Yorkers 30 and older are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, Cortland County offers two vaccine clinics this week at the SUNY Cortland Ice Arena.

The Cortland County Health Department announced Tuesday it is working with Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. Appointments are required for:

— 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday. Make an appointment at https://tinyurl.com/zmkbck3k.
— 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday. Make an appointment at https://tinyurl.com/53zmbmhs.

These clinics are for anyone in 1a and 1b eligibility groups, which now includes age 30 and older.

The state also announced that anyone 16 and older will be eligible for the vaccine starting April 6, however, the county reported it has been receiving the Moderna vaccine, which is restricted to people 18 and older.
