GROTON — A man was treated and released Sunday morning after being shot outside an East Cortland Street home in Groton, state police said.
The 30-year-old was shot about 7:30 a.m., suffering non-life threatening injuries, said state police at Ithaca. The suspect, fled south on Williams Street in a dark-colored Mercedes.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, but was later released, police said.
Groton police, Tompkins County sheriff’s deputies and Groton Ambulance also responded.
